Cardiff Academy on FACEBOOKCardiff Academy has always been a small, friendly college in which everyone gets to know everyone else very well indeed - even those who are here for just one year. This applies as much to us as teachers as it does to our students. Because Cardiff Academy is like an extended family we are genuinely sad when our students leave at the end of each year and often talk in the staffroom about how they might be getting along. The main purpose of “Cardiff Academy on Facebook” therefore is to allow former students to keep in contact with each other and with us as regards – well – just about anything really even if it`s just to say “Hi”!
Aamir
Aamir was a loving, caring, outgoing student. He was a very big part of life at Cardiff Academy. He will be missed by all the staff at The Academy just as much as by his friends and former classmates. Here, then, are some of the tributes to Aamir. Facebook Tribute GroupsR.I.P Aamir Siddiqi Cardiff Academy TributesIn the immediate aftermath of Aamir`s death I posted an open message on the many Facebook Groups set up in his honour and also paid tribute to him on behalf of Cardiff Academy when asked to do so by the BBC.
