Home Student Fees & Payment Conditions
Cardiff Academy makes no distinction as regards tuition fees between home students and those from overseas.
Tuition fees below are shown per term. There are three terms in each academic year.
Two-Year A-Level Course [AS in year one and A2 in year two]
Lower Sixth AS (Year 12): £2,800 per term*
Upper Sixth A2 (Year 13): £2,800 per term*
*Based normally upon four subjects at AS and three subjects at A2
Intensive One-Year A-Level Course [AS plus A2 in one year]
Repeat A-Level: £1,100 per term for each subject
New [From-Scratch] A-Level: £1,100 per term for each subject
Two-Year GCSE Course
Year 10 GCSE: £2,800 per term
Year 11 GCSE: £2,800 per term
Intensive One-Year GCSE Course
Repeat Year 11 GCSE: £2,800 per term*
New [From Scratch] GCSE: £600 per term for each subject
*Based upon a minimum of five and a maximum of ten subjects
What is included?

Tuition fees
- All costs for sporting activities
- A contribution by Cardiff Academy towards College activities/meals etc.
What is not included?
- Books and Stationery
- Examination fees
- Materials cost for students taking Art and Photography
Payment Conditions
- Tuition fees are payable per term before the start of each new term.
- Under exceptional circumstances, and with written agreement from the Principal, tuition fees may be paid by monthly standing order over a ten month period from September to June inclusive. |
